Since 1971 (2021=50 years !) the Sint-Joris restaurant, on the Markt in Bruges, has been run by the same family.
In 2013, the interior of the historic house was completely stripped and rebuilt.
Behind the typical façade and underneath the balks of the 13th century, you will discover a modern interior with lots of wood and warm tints which create a cosy atmosphere. Joeri and Enid Dobbelaere De Roos wish you a warm welcome!
Traditional Belgian food is the speciality: Flemish beefstew, mummy's meat balls, grilled sirloin, chateaubriand, mussels and chips, fisherman’s dish, shrimps croquets, Belgian chicory/ham/cheese gratinated in the oven. The restaurant also serves a nice variety of snacks and vegetarian dishes: toasts of the countryside, home-made quiches, share-food, omelets, pasta, waffles, pancakes. To prepare the dishes, only first-quality products from local farmers and suppliers are used.
